Policies & Procedures
Payment
After each interview/session at CNLD, you will receive an itemized statement of services. Please plan to pay at the time of service. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements or need to work out a payment plan, please make these arrangements when you schedule your appointment(s); therapy clients should discuss this with their therapist.
Insurance
CNLD does not bill insurance companies directly. It is the client’s responsibility to check with their insurance company prior to the appointments to determine coverage and reimbursement.
Payment is expected at the time of service. We can provide codes to you in advance of your initial meeting so you can find out what portion of the services will be covered in your policy. We will provide you with an itemized statement of services after each appointment that will include appropriate procedure, diagnosis, and billing codes for your insurance company. Once you have paid the CNLD invoice, you will receive a copy of it, marked “paid.” You may then submit this invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice so that we can reschedule the appointment time. If an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged for a portion of the time (excluding emergencies).
If you miss an appointment, you will also be charged for a portion of the missed time. Therapy clients will be charged for the missed session if less than 24 hours notice is given.
Waiting Area/Clinic Guidelines
The entire office suite of CNLD is non-smoking. The office has WiFi available in the waiting area, so please feel welcome to bring your laptop.
