With expertise and knowledge in various areas of neuropsychology, clinical
psychology, and social work, our staff is not only well-trained, but we
are also experienced in sharing our knowledge with others. We make presentations
and give workshops to parents, schools, agencies, and organizations of
many types throughout the year. Doing so has impact in several ways:
- it provides information about cutting-edge issues in our field (e.g., executive functions and autism)
- it broadens peoples understanding of their own or their childs learning styles
- it enlightens the audience on how to work with or teach others who have learning or attentional struggles, or social/emotional issues
- it provides the audience with tools and ideas for how to address problems with efficiency and organizational skills
- it informs everyone on the latest information about mental health issues, including learning disabilities and attentional disorders.
If
you are interested in having our staff make a presentation at your school,
place of work or organization, please contact Dr.
Lauer (in Washtenaw County) or Dr.
Beaulieu (in Oakland County) for more information. Also, make sure
to check out our list of upcoming
events.

We followed through with the therapist you recommended for Katys speech issues, and are seeing steady improvement each week. She looks forward to meeting with her each week they have really made a connection that also helps her with the social anxieties she previously experienced. This process was very worthwhile since she now recognizes that she can do anything with guidance and assistance. Shes making friends and not avoiding school for the first time in years. Seeing her genuinely smile again is wonderful thanks for guiding us on the path to a happier Katy.
